Re-establishment of the connection with a lost satellite using SDR technology
From this article you will know about space satellite ISEE-3 (International Sun/Earth Explorer 3) that was sent to space within International program of cooperation between NASA and ESA in 1978. Due to some reasons this satellite was deactivated. However a group of enthusiasts decided to re-establish the connection with ISEE-3, send it to another orbit and further on use it for the research of comets. This target could be achieved by using SDR system of National Instruments. The flexibility of this system allowed restoring the connection and establishing remote control.
