electronica & Productronica China celebrates its 10th anniversary as the leading show of China’s electronics community

To celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2011, this year electronica & Productronica China will feature a first-rate show concept for its exhibitors as well as its visitors. From March15 -17, 2011 electronica & Productronica China will open its doors at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), where more than 460 exhibitors will show their latest products at an exhibition area of 23,000 square meters. 

On this year’s occasion the trade fair will show the whole range of electronic components, assemblies and systems as well as manufacturing equipment. Leading national and international exhibitors such as Bosch, Changchun Zhenyu, Hebi Haichang, Infineon, Komax, Panasonic, Tyco and Schaefer participate to present their latest developments and numerous innovations that will shape the future of the Chinese electronics industry. Thus, the electronica & Productronica China is the must-attend platform for the electronics industry in China. 

New exhibition area structure

In 2011 electronica & Productronica China will feature a new exhibition area structure and combine the advantages of exhibitions, forums and technology zones offering total innovation for both exhibitors and visitors. By creating these specific areas for exhibitors, the show will ensure clear product segmentation and increase awareness for special sectors. 

In combination with related conferences the segments will showcase the latest products and technologies and facilitate the interchange of ideas, future-oriented trends and developments. 

In 2011, electronica & Productronica China will amongst others contain the following exhibition areas: IC, Components, Automotive Electronics, Power Electronics and Wire & Cable. 

Conferences, Symposiums, Forums

In addition, an excellent conference program consisting of various conferences, symposiums and forums will provide valuable insights into major trends and developments. International experts from various sectors like the automotive and power industry will present their latest technology breakthroughs and future trends. The conference program will cover automotive electronics, automotive testing, power electronics, medical electronics, LEDs, telecommunications, green manufacturing, connector technology and wire and cable processing. 

Co-organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers of China and Messe München International the 2011 International Conference on Advanced Automotive Electronics Technology will be held on March 15 -16, 2011. Its focus will be on Electronic Control of Powertrain Systems, Safety and Electronics, Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS), Bus Technology and New Energy Vehicles. Special segments such as passive components, power semiconductor, cables processing and SMT show the application of automotive electronics in auto safety, control, communication, navigation and infotainment. With around 30 interesting lectures it is now recognized as the most important automotive electronics event in China. 

At the 2-day International Power Electronics Innovation Forum, over 20 scientists and innovation leaders will speak about "Power Electronics Innovation in the Low-Carbon Economy". This Forum will be co-hosted by the China Power Supply Society and Messe München International.
