Anritsu Company announces it has successfully demonstrated peak throughput for an LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) device and network simulator using 3x Carrier Aggregation (3CA) and 4x4 MIMO with 256QAM modulation. Utilizing devices featuring the new Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ X16 LTE modem, a product of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, and the Anritsu MD8430A LTE Simulator, Anritsu is able to successfully show support for stable IP-layer data rates of up to 1 GBit/s in the downlink.

Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and Anritsu Corporation announce their collaboration on Taiwan’s WLAN Offload field implementation using the Anritsu MD8475A Signalling Tester, under the support of the “Accelerating Mobile Broadband Service and Industry Development — Construct the testing environments for 4G+ network access and application” plan by the Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA). The WLAN Offload testing services on this project are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2016.

Anritsu Company announces that it has extended the frequency coverage of its MS46322A Series ShockLine™ Economy Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and MS46122A Series ShockLine Compact VNAs to 43.5 GHz. By supporting the higher frequency, the low-cost VNAs can efficiently conduct S-parameter and time domain measurements on RF and microwave passive devices up to 43.5 GHz in a variety of cost-sensitive engineering, manufacturing and university testing applications.

Anritsu Company introduces a scalar transmission option for its MS46121A PC-controlled ShockLine™ 1-port USB Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) that transforms multiple MS46121A models into a simple scalar system.
