Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) expanded its mixed-signal and digital-storage oscilloscope portfolio with two lower-cost 600-MHz Infiniium 9000 Series models, three new application packages and GPIB compatibility. The 9000 Series is the industry's first oscilloscope family to offer bandwidths from 600 MHz to 4 GHz, and it includes the industry's first mixed signal oscilloscope to support MIPI and SATA industry standards.

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) expanded its digital-storage oscilloscope (DSO) portfolio with six new models that comprise its next-generation 1000 Series. These new scopes offer bandwidths between 60 MHz and 200 MHz and deliver features normally found on more expensive scopes. The oscilloscopes are available with two or four channels, and each comes in a package that is just 5 inches deep and weighs less than 7 pounds.

The Digital Video Broadcasting-Terrestrial/Handheld (DVB-T/H) and Digital Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcasting (DTMB) measurement applications provide one-button, standard-based power and modulation analysis capabilities to help broadcasting and digital video customers design, evaluate and manufacture DVB-T/H and DTMB modulators, transmitters, amplifiers, tuners and gap fillers/repeaters.

Agilent Technologies Inc. announced the release of five new, higher-power members of the Agilent U2000 Series of USB-based power sensors. With the addition of these devices, the U2000 Series now covers a power range of -60 dBm to +44 dBm and a frequency range of 9 kHz to 24 GHz. Because these affordable sensors operate without power meters or external power adapters, they save bench space and simplify field work.
