Keysight Technologies, Inc announced that it has added new capabilities to its Propsim F32 channel emulator. These capabilities enable manufacturers and mobile operators to efficiently verify the performance of devices and network equipment with LTE-Hotspots and Indoor (LTE-Hi) small cell and LTE-Licensed Assisted Access (LTE-LAA) dual connectivity technology support. LTE-LAA was first introduced in 3GPP Release 13 and is part of LTE Advanced Pro. Keysight's LTE-Hi small cell test scenarios were developed in collaboration with China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.

Keysight Technologies, Inc., the first company to introduce a one-box, 1,500 V, photovoltaic (PV) array simulation solution — the N8900APV Series — announced the addition of automated static and dynamic maximum peak power tracking (MPPT) test to its Solar Array Simulator (SAS) Control software for N8900APV Series PV simulators. The static and dynamic MPPT tests are performed in accordance with the European Standard EN50530 (April 2010) procedure, which is widely accepted as the industry standard for the overall efficiency of grid-connected photovoltaic inverters. This update to the software also includes integration with the Keysight BenchVue platform.

Keysight Technologies, Inc. announced the newest release of its high-performance, Advanced Low-Frequency Noise Analyzer (A-LFNA), which is designed to make fast, accurate and repeatable low-frequency noise measurements. The release features a new user interface and tight integration with Keysight's WaferPro Express software — a platform that performs automated wafer-level measurements of semiconductor devices. As part of this larger framework, the platform provides engineers with a deeper understanding of the noise in their devices and circuits, surpassing dead-end noise measurements on a standalone system.

As a result, Allion is now an Intel authorized certification lab for Thunderbolt 3 technologies.
