NI, the provider of platform-based systems that enable engineers and scientists to solve the world’s greatest engineering challenges, announced new embedded systems hardware based on the open, flexible LabVIEW reconfigurable I/O (RIO) architecture. This hardware includes the high-performance CompactRIO Controller for integrators with rugged, industrial applications, Controller for FlexRIO for designers with high-performance embedded applications and Single-Board RIO Controller for designers who require more flexibility in their embedded applications.

Rohde & Schwarz designed its GNSS simulator for the R&S SMBV100A with a focus on production testing of GNSS receivers. Keysight Technologies, Inc. announced that it has completed the acquisition of Anite. Keysight paid approximately $600 million in cash for Anite – a leading supplier of software solutions for wireless research and development – in a deal that supports Keysight's strategy to grow in wireless and expand its software offerings.

Texas Instruments introduced the industry's first 20-A and 30-A synchronous DC/DC buck converters with frequency synchronization for low-noise and reduced EMI/EMC and a PMBus interface for adaptive voltage scaling (AVS). TI's SWIFT™ 20-A TPS544B25 and 30-A TPS544C25 converters integrate MOSFETs and feature small PowerStack™ QFN packages to drive ASICs in space-constrained and power-dense applications in various markets, including wired and wireless communications, enterprise and cloud computing, and data storage systems.

Manchester and NRZ coding are used by a large number of commercially available and also proprietary serial buses for the transfer of data and control signals. Previously, debugging options during the implementation of these protocols were limited. This has changed with the new, universal trigger and decoder option for the R&S RTO and R&S RTE digital oscilloscopes.

At IBC 2015 in Amsterdam from September 11 to 15, Rohde & Schwarz will present its new products under the motto: "Rohde & Schwarz 4K: more than just resolution".
