Rohde & Schwarz designed its GNSS simulator for the R&S SMBV100A with a focus on production testing of GNSS receivers. The fast GNSS production tester supports the GPS, Glonass, BeiDou and Galileo satellite systems and includes a wealth of additional test functions for characterizing GNSS chipsets and modules.

Manchester and NRZ coding are used by a large number of commercially available and also proprietary serial buses for the transfer of data and control signals. Previously, debugging options during the implementation of these protocols were limited. This has changed with the new, universal trigger and decoder option for the R&S RTO and R&S RTE digital oscilloscopes.

Thanks to its easy handling, the R&S FSW85 simplifies complex measurement tasks in the fields of automotive radar, 5G and other wireless communications standards or aerospace and defense.

The new phase noise analyzer and VCO tester from Rohde & Schwarz enables ultrasensitive and ultra-fast phase noise measurements. The R&S FSWP also allows users to very easily measure pulsed sources and residual phase noise of RF components. Plus the instrument can be upgraded to a signal and spectrum analyzer.

Rohde & Schwarz expands the application field of its R&S RTO oscilloscope by adding an option to decode and analyze 8b/10b encoded interfaces up to 6.25 Gbit/s. The new software option's full autoset function configures all settings at the push of a button.

The R&S CMW-PQA from Rohde & Schwarz was one of the first test platforms in the world to be accepted for data throughput tests in line with PTCRB RFT 113.

Rohde & Schwarz is now offering its first test solutions for developing and manufacturing DOCSIS 3.1 based consumer electronics equipment and components. These test setups include an R&S CLGD cable load generator and an R&S FSW signal and spectrum analyzer equipped with a new downstream signal analysis option.

ETV, Serbia's national broadcasting agency, is using Rohde & Schwarz transmitters for the third and final phase of its transition to DVB-T2. Rohde & Schwarz supplies high-power and medium-power transmitters as well as gap fillers. Analog TV broadcasts are scheduled to be entirely discontinued in 2015.
