Agilent Technologies Inc. added 14 new models to its InfiniiVision 7000 Series mixed-signal and digital-storage oscilloscope portfolio. These new scopes offer bandwidths from 100 MHz up to 1 GHz. In addition to traditional analog signal representation, the scopes provide digital signal capture and serial bus triggering and decode. Custom integrated circuits deliver hardware-accelerated operation and put up to 100,000 waveforms on screen each second to help designers capture rich signal detail and intermittent events.

Emerson Process Management announces the expansion of its Rosemount® 8800D Series of Vortex flowmeters to include stainless steel transmitter housings. New housing increases flowmeter’s reliability and longevity in corrosive environments.

New laser distance meter Fluke 421D measures up to 100 meters and is IP54 rated for resistance to water spray and dust. Laser distance meters can be used every time you want to quickly and accurately determine the distance to your target, the area bounded by two distances, or the volume within three measurements.

National Instruments introduced new RF vector signal generators (VSGs) and vector signal analyzers (VSAs) in two-channel, three-channel and four-channel versions for multichannel multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) RF design and test applications. Rohde & Schwarz is the first T&M equipment supplier to successfully validate LTE test cases with the Global Certification Forum (GCF). A first set of test cases of the 3GPP 36.523 specification were presented and approved for validation on the R&S®CMW500 wideband radio communication tester.

New communications services such as WLAN 802.11a and WiMAX™, with frequencies between 3 GHz and 6 GHz, require a frequency range extension of the measuring equipment for surveys, risk communication and studies. The R&S®TSEMF-B2 isotropic antenna can cover this extension. The antenna, featuring a frequency range from 700 MHz to 6 GHz, is also suitable for measuring EMF standards such as EN50499 and can measure all relevant wireless services in a single operation.

National Instruments announced the release of two CompactRIO programmable automation controllers (PACs), which offer engineers and machine builders an ideal solution for high-performance measurement and control applications operating at extended temperatures. The NI cRIO-9023 and NI cRIO-9025 real-time controllers also are available with conformal coating for additional protection of components and circuitry within harsh conditions.
