The magazine “Test & Measuring Instruments and Systems” (“Kontrol’no-izmeritel’nye Pribory i Sistemy”, KIPiS) — is a scientific and technical magazine that covers current situation in the field of measuring instruments, technical regulation and metrology. It is a joint project of the Russian Center for Tests and Certifications (“Rostest-Moscow”), All-Russian Scientific Research Institute for Physical-Technical and Radio-technical Measurements (VNIIFTRI), Bauman Moscow State Technical University (MGTU) and “Eliks+” LLC.

The magazine is intended for a wide range of specialists who use test and measuring equipment in their day-to-day activity: development and service engineers, technicians, metrologists, managers, chiefs of the firms, plants and other enterprises.

The largest consumers of test and measuring equipment are the KIPiS subscribers. Companies and organizations working in instrumentation and machine building, communication, power engineering, transport, oil-and-gas production, defense and other branches of industry as well as federal authorities, state Centers for Standardization and Metrology, project and research organizations, educational institutions and libraries subscribe for this magazine.

We publish miscellaneous and useful information in our magazine. You can find up-to-date information about the progress in reform of technical regulation system and legislation on assurance of measurement uniformity; news and articles about new measurement instrumentation; news from Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rostekhregulirovanie); interviews with the leading Russian metrologists; theoretical investigations in metrology; opinions of the designers and users of test and measuring equipment; exhibition, conferences and seminars reviews and other information.

Leading specialists in research and operation of test and measuring equipment, professors from higher schools and research institutes, representatives of the companies and manufacturing enterprises and leaders of metrological services write articles for our magazine.

The magazine is mostly distributed by subscription and at the branch exhibitions, conferences, seminars and other events all over Russia, CIS and abroad.

The magazine was established in 1996. Six issues per year; 5000 copies, 40 full-colored pages per issue.
